Hello fellow travel lovers ! This is my first  attempt at blogging, and I just want to start by saying I have been “bitten” by a very captivating bug...

It’s vast and beautiful and sings to your soul in a way that no place else on earth can ever match. It sinks into your bones so you feel a connection; like you are from there,.... like you are home.... even if  you’ve never been before...   and if you are lucky enough to get there in your lifetime, you will dream about the day that you can go back  - it’s THAT kind of place....

Everyone I have ever met who has been to Africa  has always told me that it’s magical and that they wish they could return... and now I must say it too.

I must say it because I have been recommending and  sending people all over the world  for many years on dream vacations, family getaways, honeymoons  and adventurous journeys.   I have experienced many of these places myself and have enjoyed them very much.  I had a Top 10 list for best Trips, which I would revise every time I traveled.

But now that I have been to Africa and returned for more ...stayed in numerous camps and lodges , captivating Cape Town and Winelands & majestic Victoria Falls   and seen first-hand the indescribably beautiful wildlife, landscapes,  sunrises and sunsets where time seems to stop in the Africa bush, I must say  to every one I meet and everyone I know that  it is a vital journey to venture here. And if you agree, I hope to be able to help you find a way to get there yourself- even if  only virtually for the time being !

I hope to share with you  some of the many captivating and epic African adventures  through photographic journeys some of the top guides in Africa have shared with me, while also focusing on conservation projects , the people and the cultures  and ways to help preserve this indescribable land.

Safari with a Purpose will be an integral part of this blog, as will notes & thoughts on various wildlife species, new information on up and coming camps and lodges  that I am constantly searching for and important cultural and current events happening in Africa today.

It has been my honor and privilege to  first become acquainted and now  affiliated with the Chariman of the company that I am partnering with, Mr. Malcolm Ainscough.   Malcom , a native of Zimbabwe ( formerly Norhtern Rhodesia ) has over 30 years experience in developing the private flying Safari and imparts a wealth of knowledge ( sprinkled with a bit of magic ) to every Safari we plan.

More about that later...   please enjoy following my epic journeys and adventures.... there are as many in Africa as there are stars in the breathtaking African sky
